Our dog developed cataracts in both eyes as a result of his diabetes. Our vet sourced quotes from two different clinics and Vet Eye Care was by far the most affordable - but of course, our priority was ensuring the best possible care. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel completely at ease. Andrea carried out a thorough examination and explained everything clearly, helping us understand what had happened and how she could help. His condition was very serious and Andrea offered to carry out the procedure that same day. Both cataracts were successfully removed and we were overjoyed to see our dog regain his sight. We’re absolutely thrilled with the treatment our dog received - it’s truly given him a new lease of life.

I was blown away by the care and compassion provided by Andrea. My dog is a rescue and impacted significantly by her traumatic background & I was anxious about how she would cope with the consultation. I was also worried about costs since we are not insured. Andrea was so warm and compassionate with both my dog and I. She explained everything so brilliantly and was so transparent about the costs - working hard to find the most suitable, effective treatment plan in the most manageable way possible. Andreas genuine care for animals and people alike really touched my heart. I cannot thank her enough - nor my wonderful vet Gemma for encouraging me to attend.

I would most definitely recommend Vet Eye Care. My nervous 4 Yr old Labrador was referred by my vet. The staff were so good with him (& me - offering me a cuppa) and vet Andrea and the veterinary nurse (sorry I think her name was Emma?) were amazing with him. They spent sometime gaining his trust&calming him with lots of fuss&a lot of treats. They went at his pace&despite his nerves he was fully compliant with all the tests, drops&photos required to make a diagnosis. Andrea fully explained her findings and the options available. She followed this up with a full report that was emailed later that day. I cannot thank all the staff enough for looking after us so well. We'll be back next year for a check up.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Vet Eye Care. 'Duffy' (our Frenchie) recently underwent eye surgery (superficial keratectomy) there, and from start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. The staff were warm, professional, and incredibly compassionate, not just toward Duffy, but also toward us as nervous pet parents. They took the time to explain every step of the procedure, answer all of our questions, and made sure we felt completely comfortable before moving forward. Iannis (the vet), nurses and reception staff were phenomenal. The care and precision they took with Duffy's operation was nothing short of remarkable. Post-surgery, they provided clear instructions and even followed up afterward to make sure he was healing well. Thanks to their expertise, Duffy is not only recovering beautifully, but he’s also happier and more comfortable than he’s been in a long time. We are beyond grateful for the care they gave Duffy, it truly made all the difference. If you’re looking for a vet that combines top-notch ophthalmic expertise with heartfelt compassion, look no further. My only regret is that we didn't go sooner!

Excellent care from our first contact to my dog being signed off following his final check after successful surgery. I knew the team were well qualified for the treatment he needed, but I was delighted with the compassion and gentle care they showed to him - never forgetting that he is still a puppy and early experience is so important. They were also exceptionally kind to me, from offering me tea and coffee every time we attended the practice, to patiently reassuring me and keeping in close contact with us and our referring vet throughout my dog’s care. I am very grateful to them and would not hesitate to return should we ever need their expertise again. Most importantly - my dog would happily visit them again too!
