THANKYOU ROBERT AND AFFORDABLE VETS ❤️ After having a bad experience at another veterinary practice, who had terrified me into believing my cat had a heart murmur which would cost over £2000 in treatments alongside extraction of some rotten teeth, I took him to Robert at Affordable Vets in Peterborough where his heart was looked at and it was found he does NOT have a heart murmur. The vet also told me about a free app called Cardalis, allowing me to monitor his breathing while he is asleep, also showing no heart murmur. My cat had dental surgery & has been diagnosed with Feline Dental Resorption, now he is well on his way to recovery thanks to the Affordable Vets AND it cost me under £750! I have recommended and continue to recommend this practice to all of my family and friends, as well as anybody who genuinely cares for their animal and doesn’t want to line the pockets of some greedy cooperation.

We came here for the first time, with a serious problem, but thanks to Robert and the nurses who helped, it was solved! My lovely Roxy was restless and scared, but thanks to the kind and experienced team, she calmed down and managed to give birth to the two little puppies trapped inside with Robert's help. I would like to thank you again for solving it without surgery, and everyone left healthy. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful, since we only registered that day and we got an appointment right away, I would like to note that the bill was not horrible either, the doctor said at the beginning that their most important consideration is the well-being of the little pet, not the financial ones. We thank you very much for everything, the care, the way you treated us, we are very grateful, I can't thank you enough, I can only recommend it to anyone with a warm heart!!

What a wonderful vet!! This was our first visit as we are new to the area. A friendly helpful reception, and a wonderful caring vet, who clearly wants to help animals and their owners! We took our young cat as we were concerned about her eating/stomach/digestion. Robert took time to explain - and listen - so we were reassured and helped to know the next steps, and the choices available to us. And he interacted so well with my teenage daughter who came with me, involving her in the consultation and discussion too. Plus they helped us get our cat in and out of the surgery as our cat box had broken and we hadn't realised until the last minute! Really pleased we've found Robert and his team. And a bonus of lots of easy free parking right outside the door!!

I recently used this practice for my elderly cat Dave. Sadly he was end of life. Robert came out to my house as l didn't want to stress Dave out by taking him to the surgery. A truly compassionate vet, gentle and kind. I was able to hold Dave on my lap as he took his last breath. RIP Dave 16yrs. From the receptionist to the team they eased my last journey with Dave. Thank you x

Robert has been amazing with our kitten. We went to him for a 2nd opinion. He has explained everything fully, investigating thoroughly and ran the correct tests to diagnose the issue correctly. We have insurance, he was aware of this, but did not try to cash in on the situation. We had been quoted over £2000 for treatment by another vet that was unlikely to solve the problem. This only goes to show that not only is Affordable Vets true to their name, they are fair and honest. Robert could have charged us for unnecessary treatment. I can’t recommend this practice enough. It is apparent he truly cares for the animals.
