We have been with Oakdale since our Tilley was a puppy almost 17 years ago when Anna ran the Surgery. Today was a heartbreaking experience for my wife and I when we knew that Tilley was very poorly. We called Oakdale as soon as they opened and managed to get straight in. The vet we saw along with the nurse (didnt get their names) were so so compassionate as it was evident after investigation that she had severe pneumonia and a heart murmur. Given her age and the seriousness we made the decision to do the right thing and euthanase. I cannot express our thanks to them enough their kindness and compassion were exemplory. Thankyou so much

Had a call this morning, from the wonderful Emily, to let me know my baby Matilda had been brought in by a member of the public. They had scanned her Crumb tag, because she didn't make it. Emily was so kind and compassionate. She was very good to Matilda and myself. I collected her and brought her home, knowing she hadn't suffered at all. Emily is a credit to oakdale. Thank you so much. I appreciate everything you have done for us. X

Thank you so much for all your help today. Couldn't fault you for the care and compassion you showed. I visited with a cat I had found which had been hit by a car. They provided emergency treatment close to closing time on a busy Saturday and provided resources to keep him comfortable so I was able to keep him at my home until he could be reunited with his owner. Sadly he was put to sleep due to the nature of his injuries, however their care allowed me to keep him comfortable until I could find the owners for them to make that decision and say goodbye properly. Very grateful for everything, and special thank you to Morgan who was on reception ❤️

I can’t recommend this Vet enough! My family have used this surgery for years and never had any issues! So informative, gentle and kind! Always happy to listen to queries and give any information needed! All staff are so so amazing and caring with animals! Thank you for many years of service and to many more!!🩷

Lovely staff, fair prices. Could not fault them at all. We unfortunately lost our cat Simba recently and although I wasn't there at the time due to work my husband reassured me that his last moments were peaceful. We even received a sympathy card in the post yesterday and the hand written note was beautiful. Thank you Oakdale.

I have been using Oakdale vets for a number of years for all of my animals. I cannot praise them more highly. ALL the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and have an obvious love of animals. The dedication of the vets is second to none working 7 days a week when necessary. Thank goodness it isn't a veterinary surgery that have a new fancy building with all the extra cubbings you end up paying for in your invoices, It is completely unnecessary. What is necessary is caring, knowledgeable staff. most of whom have been with Oakdale's for 12 years or more. Veterinary surgeons who care passionately about the animals than the money at the end of it. I WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND OAKDALE VETS. NO ONE ELSE IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY ANIMALS.
